Summary: This story takes place seven - eight months after father and son first met. Matthew is getting married and Rupert along with the whole gang are invited to the festivities... if they live that long.
Author's note: This tale is a sequel to "A 'Rip' Off The Old Block" which introduced one Matthew R. Giles the illegitimate American son of Rupert. Also this tale gives background on a group of vampire hunters known as The Alliance by whom Matthew is employed.

Only he never received it. Instead, the Cross was somehow lost in transit, and accidentally shipped to an eccentric millionaire, who used it for a Treasure Hunt. Now, Giles must travel across country to find the Cross, before the Council does, and still win the contest.
