Pairing: Buffy/Giles, implied possible future Wesley/Faith, hints of remaining feelings of a Wesley/Cordelia kind though mostly it's sibling/best friend love.
Author's Notes: I'm assuming Giles is about ASH's age. Buffy was 22 at the end of Buffy. 23 at the end of Angel. I'm assuming she had the baby around 25 and that Faith is about a year younger than her. So we're looking at 24. So during the fic, when someone is six, she's 30. By the time a certain someone is 20, she'll be 44 so if that certain someone takes after his parents, he'll definitely think she's dateable.

Author's Notes: This is actually adapted from a roleplay a friend of mine and I did. I am posting with her permission of course after turning it into a fic. In spite of the fact that *everyone* tells me I have Faith in my head - I play Wesley and she plays Faith. Go figure. And just so you know - if you're a big Wes/Fred shipper you might not like this - not that I vilify her. I just really don't like her.

Author's Notes: I'm now seriously depressed - you'd know the ONE character I like would get offed. *sigh* This is the first of (I think) three reaction fics to Wesley's death. I know Spike and Giles have something to say - and I think Faith might too. The first one is Lilah though - so if you don't like her, don't read.


Yellow Brick Road

Pairing: B/G, Wes/Faith, hints of Wes/Fred and maybe even some Wes/Angel subtext.
Author's Notes: The title really doesn't have anything to do with the story, but this song kept running through my head while I was writing the fic – so with all due respects to Elton John – I stole it. I suppose in a way the title does work – since it's all about going back to the beginning.
Dedication:To Fanficcionista, who asked me nicely for Wes's point of view. Then Wes started talking and the rest is history. As well as to everyone who's sent me feedback over the course of this thing. I have another saving Wesley project – but it's going to take time. *g* Be patient.
